Roberta Jean (UK): Open Call – 2 dancers

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced dancers for a new interdisciplinary performance project, its initial research period in 2020, a longer production period in early 2021 and further touring. This is a paid opportunity – subject to final funding confirmation.
We are seeking two dancers. The project will be developed in locations across the UK at Dance4 (Nottingham), Dance Base (Edinburgh) and DanceXchange (Birmingham) as part of their artist in residence scheme.
We are looking for the first dancer to join for both residencies in 2020, the production period and touring in 2021. We are looking for a second dancer to join slightly later in the research for the 2nd residency in October 2020 and for the production period and tour in 2021.
We especially welcome applications from:
dancers over the age of 25
that have at least 3 years professional performance experience with a specialism in contemporary dance practice
have performed in a strong and diverse portfolio of work
have and are open to working both collaboratively and through direction from a choreographer
