Das Kunstfestival Begehungen hat seine diesjährige Ausschreibung veröffentlicht!
Wir suchen über den Weg des Open Call Künstler*innen aller Gattungen und Ausdrucksformen, die sich vom Ort und dem Jahresthema „PLANSCH“ inspiriert fühlen. Die Teilnahme ist sowohl in Form einer Residenz als auch mit eingesandten Werken möglich.
Die 19. Ausgabe des Kunstfestivals Begehungen findet erstmals nicht im Stadtraum Chemnitz statt, sondern in der ca. 15 Kilometer entfernten Kleinstadt Thalheim. Ausstellungsort wird das seit 2014 ungenutzte Erzgebirgsbad sein. Der 1996 als sogenanntes Spaßbad konzipierte Komplex besteht aus Schwimmhalle samt Rutschen, Sauna und Freibad mit weitläufigem Außenbereich.
Festivalzeitraum wird der 11.08.2022 – 21.08.2022 sein.

Open Call Begehungen Festival
The art festival Begehungen has published this year’s call for entries!
We are looking for artists of all genres and forms of expression who feel inspired by the location and the annual theme „PLANSCH“. Participation is possible both in the form of a residency and with submitted works.
For the first time, the 19th edition of the Begehungen art festival will not take place in the urban area of Chemnitz, but in the small town of Thalheim, about 15 kilometers away. The exhibition venue will be the Erzgebirgsbad, which has been unused since 2014. The complex, designed in 1996 as a so-called Spaßbad, consists of an indoor swimming pool including slides, sauna and an outdoor pool with extensive outdoor area.
Festival period will be 11.08.2022 – 21.08.2022.
