In response to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, the Playground team has initiated an emergency residency program for performing artists from Ukraine in Munich. The aim is to organize accommodation and financial support, as well as exchange and work opportunities for at least one month, but longer if possible. Whoever has a free room or apartment and can accommodate someone or wants to help in some other way – please get in touch! Who can support financially: please donate. By doing so, you make it possible to expand the program.
The first artists of the emergency residency program have already arrived and more artists are expected next week.. The program is meant to be the start of a long-term solidarity and artist-to-artist support, which will be continued for other artists and countries as well, in order to perpetuate this ‚Nomadic Solidarity/ground solidairty‘ in the artistic work.
