Britta Lieberknecht & Company seek dancers f/m/d with strong contemporary dance technique and improvisation skills who have experience with voice work and love to use their voice during movement. Britta Lieberknecht seeks 5 dancers f/m/d for her new dance performance production 26. July to 19. Sept. 2021 including 6 performances in Köln Germany.

Follow up performances in spring 2022.
The production experiments with language as the core of dance. The sounds of words and their meaning will be articulated through movement. Vocalizing will be an expressive element. The dance and the voice will be in close relationship. Auditions by invitation only. Auditions will happen in each city in several preselection groups and on the final dates in the selection groups. Conditions: You must be fully available for the production period. We cannot employ anyone. Non EU Residents with valid working visa for 21 + 22 only.
Skills wanted:
Experience in vocal work and strong interest to bring it into dance.
If you have not much experience but want to work it out – give it a try, we will watch your video.
Communication skills to create in a group in an experimental situation.
Strong contemporary dance technique
Strong improvisational skills
Payment: 2500 € per month, performances extra. No coverage of travel costs and accommodation on top.
How to apply: E-mail your CV and video link/s to show your dancing. Studio takes are o.k. To present your voice mail a video link of work already done or a studio video recording of you sounding, singing and speaking while you move. Singing must not be musically “correct”- we will not sing songs on stage.
