Die Dokumentation der internationalen Konferenz „Walk the Line – Fairness for the Independent Performing Arts in Europe” ist ab sofort auf der Website des Europäischen Dachverbands der freien darstellenden Künste (EAIPA) zu finden.

Gut aufbereitet sind sowohl eine schriftliche Zusammenfassung zu finden wie auch der Video-Mitschnitt des hybriden Events. Alle Unterlagen (Slides, PowerPoint-Präsentationen) bzw. Informationen zu spannenden Themen wie ein Vergleich von Zahlen, Daten und Fakten zur freien Szene in Europa, zur Erfahrung mit verschiedenen Mindesthonoraren oder Sozialversicherungsmodellen stehen zur Verfügung.  Außerdem gibt es Informationen zu Fair Politics und Fair Structures in verschiedenen Ländern Europas sowie zu den Fairness Codices, u.a. aus Zürich / CH – und einiges mehr…

„Mit dieser Konferenz haben wir die wichtigsten Themen rund um Fairness für die freie darstellende Szene benannt und europaweit Erfahrungen ausgetauscht. Faire Bezahlung, faire soziale Absicherungen, Anforderungen an faire Kulturpolitik werden uns weiterhin begleiten, wir werden Themen vertiefen und uns weiter und noch intensiver austauschen. Ziel muss auch sein, eine faire europäische Kulturpolitik in Abstimmung mit nachhaltigen Strategien in den Ländern zu etablieren“.

EAIPA – the European Association of Independent Performing Arts wurde 2018 als Dachverband für Verbände und Interessengruppen aus ganz Europa gegründet, die die freien darstellenden Künste international und auf europäischer Ebene vertreten. EAIPA agiert auf B2B-Ebene und ihre Mitglieder vertreten Akteur:innen aus dem professionellen Bereich der freien darstellenden Künste auf den jeweiligen nationalen Ebenen. Derzeit sind 17 Mitglieder aus 15 europäischen Ländern vertreten. Die IG Freie Theaterarbeit ist Gründungsmitglied und übernimmt seit 2018 auch den Vorstandsvorsitz.

EAIPA sowie die Konferenz werden vom BMKÖS – Bundesministerium für Kunst, Kultur Öffentlichen Dienst und Sport unterstützt.

The documentation of the international conference „Walk the Line – Fairness for the Independent Performing Arts in Europe“ is now available on the website of the European Association of Independent Performing Arts (EAIPA). Both a written summary and a well-prepared video recording of the hybrid event have been uploaded to the website. All documents (Slides, PowerPoint presentations) and information on exciting topics such as a comparison of figures, data and facts on the independent scene in Europe as well as shared experiences with various minimum fees or social security models are available. You can also find information on fair politics and fair structures in various European countries and on fairness codices, and even more …

Ulrike Kuner, EAIPA’s president:
„With this conference, we have named the most important issues relating to fairness for the independent performing arts scene and we exchanged experiences across Europe. Fair pay, fair social security and requirements for fair cultural policy will continue to accompany us. We will delve deeper into those topics and exchange ideas further and more intensively. The aim must also be to establish a fair European cultural policy in coordination with sustainable strategies in European countries“.

EAIPA – the European Association of Independent Performing Arts was founded in 2018 as the umbrella organisation for associations and interest groups from all over Europe representing the independent performing arts internationally and at European level. EAIPA operates at B2B level and its members, in turn, represent the actors from the professional independent performing arts field on the respective national levels. Currently, EAIPA has 17 members from 15 European countries. The IG Freie Theaterarbeit is a founding member and holds the chairposition of the board since 2018.

EAIPA, as well as the conference, are supported by the BMKÖS – Federal Ministry for Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport.
