Are you interested in social inclusion and would you like to share your expertise and knowledge at European Level?
The Brainstorming Session on culture for social inclusion – partnering with other sectors represents the opportunity for a group of around 30 European civil society stakeholders in the cultural sector and 5 selected non-cultural stakeholders to exchange ideas on this topic and to present these to the European Commission. The group will brainstorm on 17-18 April 2018, and then have the opportunity, in September 2017, to discuss the main ideas (to be summarised in a Brainstorming Report) with the European Commission at a Dialogue Meeting in Brussels.
The call is open to representatives of the cultural and creative sectors (professional organisations, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, European networks, foundations, private organisations, etc.) with relevant expertise on the topic “Social inclusion – partnering with other sectors”, who would like to contribute to discussions with the European Commission. Organisations applying must be from one of the 28 EU Member States.
Deadline: 8 January 2018
The Brainstorming Session is taking place on 17-18 April 2018 and the Dialogue Meeting with the European Commission in September 2018 (Tbc). Please make sure you are available within the given timeframes and have read the practical information before completing the following application form.
For a smooth implementation of the project, the same person must attend both meetings.
The participants of the session will be selected according to the selection criteria published on the project's website (http://www.voicesofculture.eu/). You will be informed whether you have been selected or not in January 2018.
