Choreo Lab: daily practice, intensive dance experience & art creation – for young professionals
ChoreoLab is a two-weeks intensive workshop for mid-career artists. A pair of international artists are invited to share their practice with a group of working artist from all over the world.
This Choreolab is about improvisation and composition in real time, based on the broad contemporary language of dance and performance art. We will research different “scores” that deal with space, time, movement, rhythm and actions. We will go from simple to complex structures and experience ourselves as co-creators of different instantaneous situations. We will learn how to act clear and comprehensively on stage while being able to adapt to any given moment. With that we can also experience a collective sensation of how situations can be intriguing and performative while sensing how far our potential and our imagination can reach and how valuable our individual contribution can be.
