FILM PROJECT: THE MONTH OF APRIL
Ben, a frustrated single physics professor, clings to the notion that everything in life can be explained through science. Ben’s brother Colin, a happily married professor of theology and religious studies, believes God is the only answer. One day Ben meets April, a seemingly sweet-hearted woman struggling with complicated relationship issues. They quickly embark on a shaky encounter that morphs into a wildly passionate affair. Colin watches it all unfold, wishing to God he was single.
Mid-30s Professor of Physics. Sexy and confident, he's the kind of guy that wakes up with bed-head and looks simply amazing.
Mid-20s Flight Attendant. Stunningly beautiful on the outside, crazy and dangerous on the inside. Beware of the monster inside.
Mid-60s University Administrator. With years of experience, she knows it's better to play by the rules than to look the other way.
40-somethings Professor of Science. Awkward and stilted, he's the new guy on campus, but that doesn't mean he's stupid.
Ben's big brother, he's a Professor of Theology. A mini version of his father, all his choices have been made to be the good son.
40s Professional Nurse. She's the kind of woman that can work 45 hours straight and never complain. Her patient's are her priority.
20-something Foreign-born Flight Attendant. She's the kind of girl you never want your child to hang around. Pure trouble in the end.
Old-World Grandmotherly type. She has seen it all, but holds no judgement. She rather not talk about the difficult things in life. It too shall pass.
Colin's wife. Mother first, wife second. Major decision are usually made with others in mind. Divorce is her worst nightmare, yet reality.
20-something International Student. Bi-Sexual but closeted if you haven't figured it out on your own. Easily manipulated. A heart of gold.
