As of season 2021/22 the Contemporary Dance Company at Staatstheater Kassel (GER) is looking for versatile and experienced CONTEMPORARY DANCERS (all genders) in full-time contracts with solid ballet and excellent contemporary technique, creative acting and improvisational skills and the willingness to adapt to different choreographic styles and methods of creating.
With its designated dance director, Thorsten Teubl, the Contemporary Dance Company at Staatstheater Kassel will be newly formed and will work with a curatorial model that is fully committed to the diversity and internationality of contemporary dance. Various ambitious international guest choreographers will create new pieces for the company and offer dancers the chance to experience an extraordinary variety of choreographic styles and to dance an unusually wide repertoire.
Dancers should be ideally available for the entirety of the audition.
Times will be determined later and a schedule sent out following our invitation. Due to the Corona pandemic, it may be possible that the audition will take place online.
